Just as every artist is unique, every venue is as well. We believe the production, or lack thereof, can make or break a show. These days, festivals are often built on their setting. New venues are popping up left and right. Clubs are spending their obscene bottle profits on anything that will give them an edge over their competition. Old venues are being transformed to attract the next generation of club-goers who’s expectations are higher than ever. And as the globe shrinks, the legendary venues of the world have become destinations of their own.
After traveling across three continents in search of the best places to see and hear music, our founder, Tim Barling, decided to start this site to praise the places worth emptying your savings to visit, and warn you about the ones you should avoid at all costs. Here will break down the atmosphere, the crowd, the production strengths and weaknesses, and the value. We will tell you what you want to know about the places you want to be, and if we don’t, we will try to answer your questions.
